God was a most wise Teacher when he gave us the Ten Commandments, which clearly put God first, followed by neighbor. He knew we’d never make it through the last seven commandments without accomplishing the first three.
Are saints really that great? They would be the first to say “no.” Yet we see something in them that makes them stand apart. What is it they do that the masses don’t? It’s a matter of extreme cooperation with God and His designs.
Who as a kid has enjoyed the joy and magic of Christmas, when gifts appeared in abundance under the tree on Christmas morning? This rich experience provides a great jumping off point to understand and appreciate what God our Father has prepared for each one of us who are determined to come home to Him.
