Along the Way: A Little Book of Poems
By Gordon CurryConversion
Parousia
God fires a glance
through man’s stained glass.
It beams bright, flashes blind.
Psalm 1
Help me to live and not act,
to be and not pretend
what you have called me to be.
Psalm 2
God,
Christ tells me to call you Father,
and so I do.
Man-God
Born upon celestial heights
in womb of virgin darkness,
mothering the Earth unknown by
Liberation
A golden leaf breaks loose and falls to the ground.
Caught by the wind, it is lifted and whirled around
til lightly it touches down.
